The Shedragon

Thinking about the rawness and imperfection of female bodies, which bleed, morph, tear in childbirth, scar and sweat, and how most of those features are ignored and even shut down by society, especially its corporate and capitalistic male-focused part.
The multi-headed dragon is a prominent figure in slavic mythology: when you cut of one head, another or (a few) grows back in its place. Just like that, the allegory with a female figure that never stops fighting was born in my head, and then continued to live on paper through watercolor.
